Dear praying Brothers and Sisters in the Faith,

Koa kua (are you tired? in I-Kiribati) We are still learning and practicing our new language. This is a question Brooke and I ask ourselves quite often. We have been very busy this past week, but God has blessed us in so many ways and continues to give us the strength we need. Last Sunday we had a great Lord’s day. One of the highlights was our new Kiribati friend and language teacher followed the Lord in baptism. His name is mote which is the Kiribati’s word for Moses. Brooke had her first lady’s meeting on Monday night. They had such a good time I could not get them to get in the van to go home. Brooke had a rough week as she had a problem with her ears hurting and hearing was limited. Thank the Lord she is feeling much better now. :-) Adelynn is still getting bigger and bigger, but is still the cutest baby anywhere. My brother’s church building is underway as we began this week to start the foundation. Please continue to pray for us as we try and juggle our responsibilities and find time to get everything done. I am realizing more and more everyday how I need to trust the Lord and let Him “Direct my paths” Proverbs 3:5-6 Thanks again for all your prayers, concern, and love for us.

Joel, Brooke, and Adelynn
